Appearing, as many fossils do, to be embedded in the stone that has kept them hidden from the world for millions of years. This pendant is an impression of how so many people see their first ammonite - embedded in a piece of Portland stone, a stone famous itself for its structural properties and clean, brilliantly bright appearance. This stone is used all across the Europe for landmarks and great buildings, such as the Hague, St Paul's cathedral and the Cenotaph, and is also frequently hiding natural treasures, ammonites and ichthyosaurs.

This pendant is a lost-was cast ammonite in pewter, embedded in Portland stone, with faux-leather necklace.
